Great American Ballpark

I stuffed myself with sausage, peanuts & ice cream and the Reds hit three home runs to beat out the Mets in the 10th inning. All around, a good game.

Tribute to a Workin’ Man

Dane started working for his dad in construction before he graduated high school. And except for a few brief seasons farming for his grandpa in middle school, he’s been hard at work building useful things. His first spec house was an after-school project, and when his dad could no longer manage the stress of owning a business, Dane started his own company. That was almost ten years ago. When he herniated a disc last fall, though, we wondered if it wasn’t time to start exploring other options. Can you say early mid-life crisis? He’d much rather be out on his bike somewhere, anyway. So far he’s continuing on without (much) complaining, but I hope we’ll soon find a way to chart a new path. Here’s a tribute to a hard working man, who strives for excellence in all things.

Whatever you do,

do it well

with all your heart.

Oooooo! Shiny!

I had a ton of fun designing these. They’re handmade & stamped.

My grandma would say “there’s nothing a little elbow grease can’t do”. I’m inclined to agree with her.

Next up, proof DVD packaging!

Kimberly Sink - Thanks, Kay! I appreciate the encouragement…it’s hard for me to know whether I’m using the right tone when I post, so it’s good to know someone’s enjoying it! :)
