The first time I photographed Deacon a year and a half ago, he was starting to feel a bit pinched in his current living quarters. His momma & papa were anticipating his arrival as the best slightly late christmas gift anyone ever got. Since that time, he’s achieved a level of mobility that left me tuckered by the end of the evening. He got a lot of playtime in with his “fast cars! vroom!!” ball – and regaled me with great imitations of every farm animal in existence, plus all those cool animals you get to see on safari in Africa. Typically, he was uninterested in the flowers until he found out he was allowed to pick and throw them. I bet he’ll think the tiny human that his mom & dad are going to bring home from the hospital soon quite unsatisfactory in the way that infants are when it comes to throwing and catching.
